These terms cover your use of the Quire app. By downloading or using Quire, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Who we are

Quire is provided by Thijs Hiemstra ("we," "us," or "our"). You can reach us at contact@revisit.gallery.

2. Your license to use Quire

We grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Quire on devices you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service and these terms. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where the law expressly allows it.

3. Your documents and content

Quire processes your documents on your device. You keep all rights to your files. You are responsible for the files you choose to open and for keeping your own backups, since the app does not store copies on any server. You agree not to use Quire to handle content you do not have the right to use, or for any unlawful purpose.

4. Subscriptions, trials, and billing

  • Quire offers a paid subscription that unlocks the app's tools. Some plans include a free trial.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. If a free trial is offered, you will not be charged until the trial ends.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
  • You can manage and cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
  • Prices may vary by region and may change over time. Any change will apply to future billing periods, not the current one.
  • Except where required by law or by Apple's policies, payments are non-refundable. Refund requests are handled by Apple.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, including by interfering with its normal operation, attempting to bypass the subscription, or using it to break any law. We may limit or end your access if you do.

6. Intellectual property

The Quire name, logo, design, and software are owned by us and are protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not give you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

7. The app is provided "as is"

We work hard to make Quire reliable, but the app is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error free, or that it will meet every need. You are responsible for keeping copies of important files, since document processing carries inherent risk.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of Quire. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Changes to the app and these terms

We may update Quire and these terms from time to time. When we change these terms, we will update the date at the top. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located there, unless the law gives you the right to a different venue.
